Welcome to Dove CE Academy – a church of England school in the heart of our community and part of Staffordshire University Academies Trust.

It is an honour and a privilege to lead such a happy, nurturing and inclusive school where every child matters.

We pride ourselves on loving and supporting our entire community and work closely with St Michael’s Church which is a short walk away. At Dove CE Academy, we offer a broad and balanced curriculum that develops the whole child and challenges them in order to achieve their full potential. We have a dedicated team of professionals committed to providing high quality education to ensure that all children believe and achieve.

We provide education within our governor run nursery to children from 3 years old and also offer before and after school care to all children. Our setting is unique in that we share a building and site with the middle school that our children feed into, which provides a wealth of opportunities.

Personal development, mental health and wellbeing is a high priority in school. The teachers and support staff work in partnership with parents to ensure that all children feel safe, secure and are cared for. Our parents are encouraged to be actively involved in school life, through Celebration Assemblies, performances, sports events and our parent association: FOD – Friends of Dove.

Our pupils live their daily lives through our core Christian values of kindness, perseverance, respect, honesty, self-control and forgiveness: providing firm foundations rooted in the Christian faith. Our school moto “Roots to Grow and Wings to Fly” emphasises our focus to ensuring all children succeed and flourish whilst in our care.
